The Red Deer Fish & Game Association (a non-profit conservation organization) has brought the Sportsman Show to Central Albertans for 43 years! The public can browse and buy your products from hunting and fishing lodge vacations, houseboat rentals, camping to white water rafting, RV’s., boats, .ATV’s., motorcycles, hunting and fishing accessories, taxidermy, outdoor art and golfing.

IN FACT, IF IT’S OUTDOOR ORIENTED, WE’LL HAVE IT THERE!

WINTER DOLDRUMS

Those who enjoy the great outdoors have found the winter long and are starting to make their summer plans. Now is the ideal time to get a had start on summer sales, launch spring and summer campaigns or show new products. There will be demonstrations and outdoor seminars.

WE’LL BRING THE PUBLIC INTO THE SHOW, THE REST IS UP TO YOU!

Our extensive advertising throughout Central Alberta will cover the electronic and print media. We’ll give you ample time to move in, help with special equipment – if you need it – to set up your display, make arrangements for any necessary storage, have available electrical services and carpet/furniture rentals from GES (403) 347-7144 and security Friday & Saturday nights.

My name is Jeff Chocholacek and I am the manager of the Red Deer Sportsman Show this year. The show is being held on  February 29th, March 1st and 2nd 2008. This makes our show a great venue for businesses as it is being held between the Calgary and Edmonton shows.

We are pushing our show this year more as anything to get you off the couch and into the outdoors… fishing, hunting, ATV’s, snowmobiles, hiking, camping, skiing, sailing, scuba diving, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, etc. We are trying to get the adventurous and interesting businesses involved to make the Red Deer show as appealing to the public, if not more so than the shows in the larger cities.

So far we have exhibitors from B.C., Alberta, Saskatchewan and the United States.  The feedback from last year’s show from exhibitors and the general public was fantastic. It wasn’t just another trade show! It had something for people of all ages and outdoor interests. I hope to hear from you in the very near future.
